| Wireless Temperature Recording System |
|
| |
|
For ISO 17025 and LIMS, CheckPoint is an automated, wireless, computerized remote temperature monitoring, recording, logging and alert system for refrigerator, freezer, incubator and water bath to replace chart recorders, data loggers and manual temperature log reports. The software program is designed to meet ISO 17025, LIMS, and regulatory requirements. The system installs on an existing PC and comes complete with installation, training and support for a total quality solution.
CheckPoint has been selected by the US Food & Drug Administration, and is currently in operation at the FDA labs, and other laboratories, such as Silliker Labs. CheckPoint helps meet ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory requirements and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System). 50 to 100 sensors are in use at each FDA laboratory to monitor the walk–in refrigerators and freezers, water baths, incubators, portable refrigerators, pressurized freezers, and ultra low –80° C freezers, where temperature sensitive, critical samples and evidence are stored.

Yellow “Monitored by CheckPoint” labels on each equipment replace the temperature log sheets to show that temperature recording is automatically being done wirelessly by CheckPoint.
A temperature variance exceeding acceptable limits immediately triggers an email \ text message alert to a cell phone with detailed description of the reason for the alert.
CheckPoint probes do not interfere with the airtight door seal of specialized air–pressurized freezers and ultra low –80°C temperature freezers. |

The NIST traceable recalibration service provides the complete required calibration certification, and our Snap–Calibration probes makes the annual recalibration job simple, taking no time for the QA manager and with no interruption to the daily operations.
The incubator probes have a high of accuracy of +/–0.05°C. |

| Being wireless, CheckPoint has the flexibility to easily move with any equipment anywhere in the lab. The lab technicians can freely move refrigerators, incubators, water baths and other laboratory equipment and continue to record the temperature. The sensor can also be very easily transferred from one equipment to another.

Specialized wireless probes designed for laboratory applications for incubators, walk-ins, water baths, portable refrigerators, air–pressurized freezers, and ultra low –80°C temperature freezers are available.
Water Bath sensor can be programmed to automatically enable alerts only when in use.

In addition to the automated management of temperature data, some important features for laboratories are:
- Send email / text message alert to different departments, depending on the equipment.
- Automatically display standardized diagnosis and corrective action for alerts so that all users will follow the same procedures
- Record and archive all corrective action sorted by user name.
- Query all alerts and corresponding corrective action by equipment name, department, time period, and other sort criteria.
