CheckPoint is an automated, wireless, computerized remote temperature monitoring, recording and alert system to replaced chart recorders, data loggers and manual temperature log reports. The software is adaptable to many applications, installs on an existing PC and comes complete with installation, training and support for a total quality solution.
CheckPoint is currently used to remotely and wirelessly monitor the temperature of refrigerated storage trailers parked anywhere in the yard of a distribution center. Especially during the summer months when a failed reefer may cause the loss of a trailer full of food products, the temperature inside the trailer can be monitored by CheckPoint, and an alert text messaged to a cell phone when no one may be available, such as on a weekend.
Manually checking the reefer temperature is a difficult and labor-intensive task especially in a large yard, With CheckPoint, all the trailer temperatures can be seen at a glance on the computer, and the contents of the trailer can also be shown and recorded. On a network, any of the departments can view their own trailer temperatures and note any corrective action taken if an alert should occur.

| Different types of sensors can be combined at a distribution center. On the same screen, the user can view the temperatures of the various refrigerated and freezer storage locations inside the facility, together with the temperature of all the trailers outside anywhere in the yard. |
